Military-grade protection online.
NordVPN gives you military-grade protection online, and you can access all your favorite sites without restriction. We never log your activity when using our servers, which are operated under the jurisdiction of Panama, where there are no mandatory data retention laws. So you can always trust your privacy to us.
Product is typically priced with its competitors but given the poorly designed interface, bugs, and abysmal customer support, it seems to me to be of poor value. Additionally, they have started to blanket some TV stations with advertising which will likely result in high prices to pay for this method of marketing which is quite expensive.
This App is challenging to use. VPN cannot be connected from the menu bar item. The user can only connect from either launching the app or going into Network in System Preferences and connecting from there. Adding a desired server locator or address to the default list is almost an impossible task. The app also acts like "big brother" with constant annoying messages to change your password at various intervals with no way to turn them off, other than to change your password even if you do not wish to do so. There are very frequent updates to fix bugs that sometimes wipe out your settings or require you to log in again to use the product. This, in my opinion, indicates a lack of proper testing before release. Finally, some of their optional security options if invoked may block the proper operation of some web sites.
Generally reliable but some of the servers do offer poor performance and it is quite difficult to add ones that give outstanding performance to the favorites list.
Support has degenerated from bad to abysmal. Agents seem poorly trained to resolve challenging issues. Previous phone support seems to have been eliminated. The chat box is now handled by 'bots' with scripted replies and getting to a real live agent can be challenging.
